Characteristics and Efficacy

• Broad-spectrum bactericide
• Easy to use, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, and water, suitable for high-water-content formulations
• Compatible with various surfactants, proteins, and most cosmetic ingredients

• Can be used in various leave-on and rinse-off products such as creams, lotions, shampoos, and masks
• Recommended dosage is 0.05%~0.8%, safe for use

Usage Recommendations      

    The SY-L series preservatives are recommended for use in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.05~0.8%, with an applicable pH range of 4~10.

This product is compatible with all components in cosmetics and is not affected by proteins, various surfactants, or active additives. Due to its excellent water solubility, it is particularly suitable for high-water-content formulations.

The SY-L series preservatives should be added as the final step in the process, in systems with a pH range of 4~10 and a temperature below 50°C.

Due to the wide variation in the ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of the preservative, we strongly recommend testing the efficacy and stability of the SY-L series preservatives before production.
